The Rochester International Airport has filed an application to Impose and Use a Passenger Facility Charge. The application was filed with the FAA. The total requested amount of Impose and Use authority for this application is $1,698,590.00. The anticipated Charge Effective Date will be October 1, 2014 and the Estimated Charge Expiration Date will be January 1, 2017. The level of PFC collection will remain at $4.50 per revenue enplanement. This continuing authority is requested to recover local share of AIP and Minnesota Department of Transportation grants in the amount of $884,987.00 and to fund three (3) new projects in the amount of $813,603.00. The FAA's Attachment H is provided that includes; a list of the proposed projects, the allocation of project funding sources, a project description, justification for each project, and required FAA approval documentation.
